Business Plan - Day 013/Starting Anew: The Webpage Begins

It's been awhile since I've written about my business, but the ball is startin' to move for real:

Check here.

That is simple and amateur and below my current abilities, but I'm taking this one step at a time.

I picked up the book on HTML/CSS that my dad sent me from the P.O. four days ago. I didn't read it, per se, that first day since I got home around midnight. But the very next day I read the first chapter. The book is entitled Sams Teach Yourself Web Publishing with HTML and CSS in One Hour a Day and I'm taking it at its word.

One hour=one chapter

The first two chapters didn't involve any actual HTML implementation, so I didn't bother to post for the past two days. Today's lesson, albeit very elementary, is the first of what I'm sure will be updates every day. I don't know if I'll actually read 1 chapter every day, but I'll try.

I also am going through the stuff I already know because I want to make sure I don't miss anything. If I had skipped this elementary chapter today which yielded that simple webpage, I still wouldn't understand the term CSS (Cascading Style Sheet). I knew of its existence and I even knew the words for the acronym, but I had no idea how the name actually applied to the thing. The book didn't even fully elucidate it in baby terms, but it did manage to stir the epiphany.

So, whoop di do! There's your first example of what I'm learning in preparation for implementing my very own webpage. Baby steps, but eventually (even tomorrow, it seems) I'll be getting into things I don't know.
