Weekend Update

It's very early Monday morning now.

I had a weirdly fast Saturday and an uncommonly slow Sunday. C'est la vie.

Saturday I woke up early to go to a frisbee tournament - I haven't been to an ultimate tourney since March, so I was excited... But I didn't play due to my still bum knees and instead had fun screaming at "my team" and getting sunburned - yes, sunburned in late September - and getting picked on by the child of a frisbee couple. I actually had quite a lot of fun with the kid because he was just vibrant with energy.

It only reinforced the one certain thing in my life - I will have children someday, somehow.

I returned to Prague in the evening and returned to my flat. I showered and ate a little food quite quickly so that I could go back into town for a concert - The Slackers. It was an early concert much to my chagrin, as I think I showed up maybe halfway through their set. But I hung out with some of them afterwards, as I had brought them a small gift of Czech origin - Becherovka and oplatky, for those of you in the know.

I have a little history with the Slackers, for those of you who don't know. I booked them into Carleton my junior year. That concert was a lot of fun and last night's was fun too, except the venue was not very nice - low ceilings and a disproportional crowd space.

Nevertheless, I eventually settled in near the exit and, despite having been standing for a majority of my day on bum knees, somehow managed to dance. A lot.

And my knees are feeling alright (not perfect today), which makes me think that I might try a frisbee practice sooner than I thought I might be able too.

Today, I spent most of my day cleaning my abundantly messy room and then went to my friends' flat where we exchanged music... knowledge. Music knowledge. Yeah, that's it.

And now I'm going to brush m'teeth and head to bed. Nighty night.
