thanksgiving. a time for gratitude, for carrot cake, and for sushi.
for the first time ever, i did not have a traditional turkey on this most blessed of days to overeat.
for the second time ever, i did have sushi.
oh yes, and it was scrumptious. there's no one about, really, so dereck and i tore into our carrot cake after gorging ourselves on overpriced raw fish. a truly enjoyable experience.
is anyone else out there finding they miss their parents more and more? I find this increasingly so.
well, a quick, lazy update. my job is keeping me busy, which is very exciting. its been a hectic month of hiring people to teach for us, and still with holes to fill. i'm working in a choir, which is a start, anyway, in my eternal quest for artistic acceptance. i'm living with a man that I love, which is still, frankly, shocking to me, and i'm finding myself at home a lot.
although i enjoy this, i don't enjoy the trend. so all of you folks in boston, come see mee!!!! i promise, i'll try to call more often.
to everyone else, you are thought of. christopher: i heard that you saw koenig the other week and i hate you for it. ernie: i'm sure all is rockin' in Kansas, though since I've ceased living in proximity to you, the amount of wrestling in my life has, sadly, significantly decreased. mommy: I'll talk to you tonight.
i don't know if anyone else reads my blog. :)
hope you're all well.
