A little more housekeeping

Made a couple of changes to the blog.

  1. Most visible. Added "Recent comments" to the sidebar on the left.
  2. Most behind-the-scenes user-friendly. In order to reduce your spam-email, I took off the automatically generated link to your email address in comments. If you fill in the email address, I can still see it from my side, but it will no longer show up on the public view. The old way of handling this said that it was "spam protection" because it scrambled your email address in a format unreadable by bots used for automatically scanning the web for email addresses. However, I didn't really trust it.

I still haven't gotten around to designing a better visual concept for the site. But I'm more of an information person than a design person. (I'll leave the good design stuff to my brother)
